Fiji–Korea Relations Reaffirmed as Korean Embassy Relocates in Suva

Fiji and the Republic of Korea have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral relations, friendship and cooperation across areas of shared interest.
The relocation of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to its new premises at Fijian Holdings Limited Tower in Suva marks an important milestone and reflects Korea’s commitment to strengthening its diplomatic presence and engagement with Fiji.
The new office for the Embassy will provide a platform to further advance shared priorities, expand partnerships and strengthen people-to-people ties between the two nations.
The milestone also coincides with the 10th anniversary of KOICA’s Fiji Office, highlighting a decade of Korea’s contribution to Fiji’s development and its wider engagement across the Pacific.
Guest of Honour and Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Hon. Sakiasi Ditoka, welcomed the milestone and acknowledged Korea’s longstanding contribution to Fiji’s development, particularly through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
