The Fiji Government in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Fiji Rugby Union hosted Fiji’s first ever Trade exhibition at the Lensbury hotel, in London, earlier this week on Thursday 6th November 2025.
A special highlight of the exhibition included the attendance of our Flying Fijians, ahead of their match against England.
Fiji’s High Commissioner to UK,
Mr. Jovilisi Suveinakama says the exhibition is not only timely but also demonstrates the Fiji Government’s commitment to supporting trade as part of Fiji’s Foreign Policy priority.
He extended Fiji’s gratitude to ITC for their financial support in getting 7 local companies from Fiji, to showcase their products at the exhibition – opening new gateway to sustainable and inclusive trade.
The High Commissioner also acknowledged the Fiji Rugby Union for supporting the initiative —aimed at advancing Fiji’s trade interests at the global arena, through sports diplomacy.
Additionally, the exhibition complements Fiji’s aspirations in establishing a Chamber of Commerce, Fiji-UK Trade Business Council and eventually the formalisation of Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
Further, it unfolded opportunities to build new alliances and networks, and strengthen partnerships between Fiji–UK companies.
