State of Israel expresses interest to establish its embassy in Fiji

The establishment of the Republic of Fiji’s Embassy in Jerusalem on 17 September 2025 marked a new and significant milestone in the longstanding relationship between Fiji and the State of Israel, which began in 1970.

In a reciprocal move, the State of Israel has committed to establishing its Embassy in Fiji. This step will further strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations and expand Israel’s presence in the Pacific region.

The people of Fiji share a close cultural and religious connection to the Holy Land, and our shared values continue to unite both nations in solidarity and friendship.
Technical and preparatory work will be carried out in close coordination with the State of Israel in the coming months, with the establishment of the Embassy anticipated later this year.
