Wallis and Futuna High-Level Delegation Strengthens Education and Development Ties in Fiji

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Hon. Sakiasi Ditoka, received a courtesy call from Deputy Secretary and Head of the Office of the Pacific at Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Elizabeth Peak.
Members of her delegation included High Commissioner H.E. Peter Roberts and Deputy High Commissioner Clair McNamara.
Discussions focused on strengthening Fiji–Australia bilateral relations and advancing opportunities for deeper regional cooperation through the Pacific Islands Forum.
Hon. Ditoka acknowledged Australia’s ongoing support also wished Ms Peak and the delegation a belated Australia Day. Ms. Peak congratulated Hon. Ditoka on his appointment and reiterated Australia’s commitment to an enduring partnership with Fiji.
