The Ministry can confirm that, at this stage, there are no confirmed reports of Fijian nationals being directly affected by the recent incidents. The Fiji Embassy in Jerusalem and Abu Dhabi remain in contact with local authorities and are maintaining communication channels with Fijian nationals.
In response to the evolving situation, the Ministry has activated an emergency Operations Centre at its headquarters in Suva to coordinate joint monitoring efforts and facilitate timely consular response should circumstances require. Furthermore, a contingency plan has been put in place to ensure that appropriate consular support can be provided to Fijian nationals should the security situation deteriorate.
