Second Secretary – Mr. Luke Letewale
Mr. Luke Letewale serves as the Second Secretary at the Fiji Embassy in Jerusalem, bringing a strong professional background in foreign policy analysis, international relations, and national security. In his previous role as a Senior Foreign Service Officer under the Asia and Middle East Bureau at the Ministry, he supported the monitoring of regional developments and contributed to inter‑agency coordination through the preparation of situational reports and policy briefs. His Master’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, together with specialized training from internationally recognized intelligence and security agencies, further strengthens his analytical, advisory, and representational capabilities.
Before joining the foreign service, Mr. Letewale served with the Fiji Police Force from 2014 to 2024, spending half of his career within the Special Branch. This experience directly enhances his work in political reporting, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement at the Embassy. His professionalism, discretion, and ability to operate effectively in complex environments make him a valuable contributor to Fiji’s diplomatic mission in the State of Israel.
