
Ministry participates in the Civil Service Celebrations 2025

The Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs joined the nation this week in recognizing the dedication and important contributions of the Fijian civil servants 🇫🇯 during the Civil Service Week 2025, commemorated with the theme, “Inspire Hope and Resilience in Combating Drugs and Violence Against Women in the Civil Service.”
As part of this significant celebrations, the Ministry staff have been recognized at the second Civil Service Medal Investiture Ceremony, which was officiated by the President of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu at the State House this week Thursday (3.07.25).
The Ministry staff were among the 200 civil servants who have been acknowledged for their outstanding achievements, devoted service and remarkable contributions towards the nation building.
The six (6) staff of the Ministry who were awarded at the Investiture Ceremony for the Civil Service Medal 🥈 Awards 2025 are as follows:
1. Director Human Resources, Mr. Savenaca Raiwalui
2. Manager Human Resources, Mrs. Nikita Bali
3. Manager Communications, Ms. Anshoo Chandra
4. Senior Executive Support Officer, Mr. Epeli Wainimala
5. Senior Accounts Officer, Ms. Yvonne Osborne
6. Human Resources Officer, Mrs. Merewalesi Radiloa
The Ministry congratulates the awardees for their exemplary achievements and wishes them success as they continue to serve in their respective roles.
Similarly, the Ministry also extends heartfelt appreciation to all the Civil Servants in Fiji, including the Fijian diplomats serving at Fiji’s Diplomatic Missions abroad, as well as the staff based at the Ministry headquarters in Suva, for their unwavering commitment, dedication, hardwork and service to the nation.
The Ministry also acknowledges the contributions of the civil servants who have served before us and helped shaped the legacy in advancing Fiji’s foreign services and global, regional and national peace and prosperity!
