Fiji’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) and other International Organizations in Geneva (PRUNOG) Ambassador designate Laitia Tamata today paid a courtesy visit to Fiji’s High Commissioner to New Zealand, Ratu Inoke Kubuabola.
It was an opportunity for the Mission to present a brief overview of Fiji’s bilateral relations with New Zealand and it’s functions in Wellington.
The High Commissioner also briefed Ambassador Tamata on his new assignment that will mainly be focused on multilateral relations.
Ambassador Tamata and his family are currently on a four days transit to await the process of their Schengen visa before departing for Geneva on Wednesday 28th January 2026.
