Australia High-Level Visit Commitments

Cabinet has approved key outcomes from the Prime Minister’s visit to Australia (1–7 July 2025):

• Deployment of a Defence Attaché and a Police Attaché to Fiji’s High Commission in Australia.
• Work on a new Fiji–Australia Security Agreement.

Fiji and Australia will continue to strengthen the Vuvale Partnership — building closer ties, supporting regional peace, and creating shared prosperity.
