30th March: On Monday 28thMarch Minister Kubuabola extended his condolences to the Japanese Embassy for the loss of lives caused by the recent earthquake and tsunami disaster in northern Japan.
On 24th March President HE Ratu Epeli Nailatikau also extended his condolences together with the First Lady Adi Koila Nailatikau. Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Hon Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama also signed the condolence book.
Embassy of Japan had opened the Condolence Book for the Victims of the Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan from 16th March to 23rd March 2011, at its office premises, Level 2, Dominion House, Thompson Street, Suva.
