“This has been a very successful meeting and we are happy to be here. We salute Fiji for hosting this wonderful meeting at this wonderful place,” he said while touring the Vale ni Bose complex.
He also gave credit to Fiji’s leaders for bringing all the five countries together and looking after them well.
“We thank the leadership of Ratu Inoke Kubuabola as the chair of the Foreign Minister’s Meeting (FMM),” Mr Poyle said.
“We also give thanks to the Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama for his vision and leadership. I hope to congratulate him personally when we meet tomorrow night.”
He said Melanesians are the friendliest people in the world and hope that Fiji continues to shine bright with the world famous hospitality by the locals.
